If you use an egg carton to store your eggs while traveling, then you may find that several or all are not whole when you go to use them! Trust me I’ve experienced this.
Often in summer time when traveling the fridge builds up condensation which renders the cardboard egg container useless for keeping the eggs from getting damaged.
A simple solution is to find a plastic container just the right size to fit a half an egg carton, and the container needs a secure lid. Cut a standard dozen egg cardboard carton in half, including the lid, and sit this into the sturdy plastic container. Now you have a secure storage vessel for your half dozen eggs.
This container can be placed into you travel fridge or if travelling in cooler climates you could store your eggs for short periods in your Top End Compact Camp Kitchen.
